This Halloween season, there are plenty of events and parties happening on Treasure Island. Be sure to dress up in your spookiest costume and attend the eerie ghost tours. There’s also the usual trick-or-treating, but with all the extra events, you’re sure to have a blast!
Halloween is a time for costumes and candy, but it can also be a time for getting together with friends and family. This year, consider attending a trunk or treat event. These events allow children to collect candy from decorated cars in a parking lot. There are several trick-or-treat events happening in the St Petersburg area this year.
Trunk or Treat
This is a great way to get into the Halloween spirit. Sometimes kids come in the hundreds, fully dressed in costumes, and holding out bags or plastic pumpkins for treats.
When the big night comes, on Thursday, Oct 27, 2022, at 05:30 pm, the cars are given specific spots to line up.
They will form an area through which the kids can safely run around and beg for candy. Some of the car decorations and displays can be quite elaborate, requiring hours of setup time in advance.
Spooky Bouquets and costume party
You can spend an evening creating a spooky bouquet! while enjoying some wine and charcuterie with Florafete and Fresh Factory. Wonderfully creative florists will help you select the perfect flowers for your Halloween arrangement, and you’ll be able to take your creation home with you!

The 6th Annual Halloween Golf Tournament will start at 1:30 pm and offers multiple ways to participate and support the Chamber and our chosen charities. This is a great opportunity to benefit both the City of Madeira Beach’s Youth Programs and the City of Treasure Island’s TIMB HAND UP Committee, serving the food insecure in Pinellas County.

The Halloween Hustle 5K

Run for fun and for the kids. This 5K hustle, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, is an exciting event followed by an exciting after party at “Waves at the Bilmar Beach Resort” in Treasure Island. If you come dressed in your best costume, you could win a prize. The Treasure Island Chamber of Commerce and the Beaches Environmental Action Committee are pleased to announce the prizes for the top three races and the best costumes for men, women, and kids. The proceeds from this event will benefit both organizations.
