If you are visiting with us this New Year’s Eve holiday weekend, ring in the new year with the Tampa Bay community at First Night St. Petersburg 2012. The 18th annual New Year’s Eve celebration of the arts begins at 5pm and features live entertainment, dance, games, art, drama, and of course, fireworks. Multiple venues in St. Petersburg will be participating in the First Night St. Petersburg celebration. You will be able to purchase $10 First Night Buttons online before December 30 or at the First Night Information Booth on December 31 located at the corner of Beach Drive and 2nd Drive. There will also be First Night Buttons available at all participating venues where performances or activities are scheduled.

First Night St. Petersburg’s Main Stage at North Straub Park will feature Sound Parlor at 7pm, Suite Caroline at 8pm, and Vodkanauts at 10:30pm. Suite Caroline, although just 14 years old, will entertain you this New Year’s Eve with her original music and talent that has placed her on stage with artists like Charlie Daniels, Sheryl Crow, and the GoGo’s. Other entertainment at First Night St. Petersburg includes hat making and Musical Petting Zoo with First Kids at The Pier, Latin dance lessons with the talented Simone Amaral at the Museum of Fine Arts Collande entrance, Resolution Bonfire at North Straub Park, and Winter Skating at North Straub Park.
