Just a few minutes down Gulf Boulevard, there will be an annual event showcasing the best seafood in Florida as well as great music, contests, craft vendors, Halloween activities, and more! The 30th Annual John’s Pass Seafood Festival & Arts & Crafts Show will take place next weekend, Saturday October 29 from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday October 30th from 10:00am to 6:00pm. This free festival attracted over 50,000 people last year and this year’s event is expected to be even bigger!
At the John’s Pass Seafood Festival, you will be able to taste the best fresh local seafood as well as enjoy a fishing expo and try your hand at a fish cutting competition. There will be an Arts & Crafts Show featuring over 60 artists in addition to more than 150 unique shops offering merchandise you just cannot find anywhere else! Get moving to live music and street dancing that the whole family will enjoy.
In celebration of Halloween, there will be trick or treating all hours of the festival as well as as a costume contest on Saturday at 3:00pm. For those who dare, there will also be a spooky Haunted House. Your children will have a great time with all of the activities planned in addition to the children area set up at the festival.
Do not worry about parking hassles because there is a 325-space parking structure accessible from the 129th and 131st Avenue entrances of John’s Pass Village. There is additional parking at Madeira Beach Middle School with a free shuttle service to the Village.
