When the temperature drops ever so slightly and the humidity starts to decrease, it can only mean one thing: fall is coming to Treasure Island! The arrival of October means exciting events are happening, and we’ve gathered a list for you below of things to do in and around Treasure Island.

Taste of the Beaches – October 4 – 10

Explore different restaurants from Tierra Verde to Clearwater to try their signature Taste during Taste of the Beaches! You can create your own “taste tour” and enjoy signature dishes from many local restaurants. Best part of all (besides the delicious bites), a portion of the proceeds will benefit Tampa Bay Watch, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and restoring the Tampa Bay estuary. Tickets are $10 per taste per restaurant. You won’t want to miss this!

Pumpkin Patch at the St. Pete Pier – October 8 – 9

Fall is in the air, which means it’s time to fall for fun at the St. Pete Pier Fall Festival! This inaugural family-friendly event features two days of the area’s largest pumpkin patch, music, food vendors and more! Did we mention the beautiful waterfront views on the Pier?

ROC The Barriers with Miracle By The Bay – October 9

You don’t want to miss live performances, raffles, silent auctions, dunk tanks and more at Roc The Barriers with Miracle By The Bay in Madeira Beach. This event will showcase two disabilities charities and local businesses that are available to the special-needs community. More information about the event can be found here

Mastry’s Brewing Co. Five Year Anniversary – October 15 – 17

Mastry’s Brewing Co. is turning five years old and it’s time to celebrate! On Friday October 15 – Sunday October 17, stop by Mastry’s for a full weekend of celebrations, beer releases, food and entertainment. Count us in!

Florida Halloween Distance Classic – October 31

On your mark, get set and go to a wicked good time at the 13th annual Florida Halloween Distance Classic Halfathon, 5K & 10K race in Fort De Soto Park on October 31. Although costumes are not required, feel free to wear one that you can easily move in. The course is extremely flat, so no bridges, overpasses or anything like that to worry about. If you’re ready to run (or watch) in the race, you can find out more information here

We hope this list inspires your fall event plans. We hope to see you soon here at Treasure Bay Resort & Marina!
