August Activities on Treasure Island
Treasure Bay Resort and Marina on Treasure Island is one cool place to spend some time during a steamy August. We have some great ideas for enjoying Treasure Island during the month of August.

Great Ideas for August
Breakfast (Painting) with elephants (age 5 & up)– August 20th and 27th (Saturdays):
Start your day with a light breakfast with one of Africa’s most cherished and beloved animals, the African elephant. One of these creative pachyderms can paint a masterpiece! Starting at 8 am on Saturday, August 20th, and Saturday, August 27th, enjoy a light breakfast with coffee & juice, an elephant training and painting session, animal care Q&A, a photo of you with one of our animals, and admission into the park following the program.
Beer Yoga – Sunday, August 28, 2022 – 10:30 am – 11:30 am:
Join us with your sunscreen, bottle of water, towel, mat, and friends. Whether you are an experienced yogi or are more into savasana and beer, this class is open to all levels. Every fourth Sunday, join Crystal Kage, a certified yoga teacher through CorePower Yoga, NASM. She’s a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Personal Trainer. Following the class, yogis can enjoy a complimentary beer and great company before the taproom opens at noon.
Bier Fest (Starts August 12th, weekends):
Busch Gardens has a Bier Fest. This is a food and beer celebration featuring finely crafted brews from some of Tampa Bay’s best. Each weekend Busch Gardens combines delicious brews and thrill rides. This is a way to enjoy contemporary fare and a modern spin on a time-honoured tradition of Octoberfest… only, in August.
“Yappy” Hour with Pet Pal Animal Shelter– August 11th:
Enjoy a new take on happy hour with some real party animals from Fetch Pet Care Northeast. Also joining will be Your CBD Store of St. Pete. This happens every second Thursday of the month on the beautiful PAWTIO at Pinellas Ale Works! $1 from every PAW beer will be donated to the shelter. Drink beer and be generous.
