With March right around the corner, many people visiting Treasure Island hotels and Florida resorts are curious where to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  There are countless smaller scale celebrations near many Treasure Island hotels and Treasure Bay Resort and Marina, the premiere Treasure Island beach resort.  However, for some of the best St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on this side of the state, many visitors to Florida beach resorts opt to spend the day in Tampa.  While many flock to Boston and Chicago for an unforgettable St. Pat’s experience Florida, too, can hold its own.  Check out some of our favorite festivities just up the road in Tampa Bay.

Start the Holiday off Right with a Brunch Crawl !

Each St. Patrick’s Day, the District Tavern hosts an Irish themed all-you-can-eat brunch with bottomless Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas from 10:00am to Noon.  From there, hope on the famed Crawler Party Buses that will be on a loop between a few downtown bars and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.  The price of your ticket includes the initial brunch, transportation, free drinks at every bar, and additional drink and food specials.  This is the perfect way for visitors to Florida beach resorts to see a lot of Tampa and have a lot of fun while doing so!

Head to MacDinton’s for an All Day Affair

MacDinton’s is Tampa Bay’s favorite Irish restaurant and the perfect place for guests of Florida resorts to visit on St. Patrick’s Day.  This holiday party runs from 11am on Saturday to 3am on Sunday and features mouthwatering Irish food, bagpipers, DJs, and a party that spills over into the parking lot.  If you are looking to leave your Treasure Island beach resort behind for a bit and let loose this St. Patrick’s Day, do not miss the party at MacDinton’s!

A Festive Event for the Whole Family

If you plan on visiting our Florida beach resorts with your family over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, then don’t sleep on the 2018 Mayor’s River O’Green Fest in downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.  The kid’s scavenger hunt is a favorite amongst young visitors to Florida resorts, and the adult version is a barrel of fun as well.  The accompanying activities and events at this fest are worth the visit alone!

Other parts of the country have larger Irish populations than Florida, but we are sure that nobody knows how to have a better time than us! If you will be visiting Treasure Bay Resort and Marina, a favorite Treasure Island beach resort, over St. Patrick’s Day don’t shy away from partaking in some local events.  Whether you had to Tampa or stay nearby, we guarantee that our corner of Florida will be celebrating St. Patrick in style!
