Playing Host to the Defending Super Bowl Champions on October 5th. Stay at Treasure Bay Resort!

On October 5th the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play host to the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, in a Thursday Night Football match-up that is sure to be a great test of what the Bucs have to offer this year.  Led by future Hall of Famer and potential greatest quarterback of all-time, Tom Brady, the Patriots are vying to defend their Super Bowl title this season. Love them or hate them, this team is one that fans of the sport should try and watch live. Buccaneers fans in Treasure Bay and all over the state of Florida are excited to see how our team stacks up against Tom Brady and company.

Taking on a Conference Rival on Halloween Weekend

If you are looking for larger scale Halloween activities than those in the immediate vicinity of your Treasure Island hotel, then St. Petersburg or Tampa Bay are your nearest options.  If you choose to head up to Tampa, don’t miss out on the Sunday October 29th match-up between the Buccaneers and visiting Carolina Panthers.  This rivalry has grown in recent years, as both young teams have become playoff contenders.  With similar leaders in quarterbacks Cam Newton and Jameis Winston, this matchup has been a fan favorite for the past few seasons.  If you have a reservation at a Treasure Bay hotel around this time, this could be a great way to spend your Sunday in late October.

The Last Home Game of the Season with Likely Playoff Implications

The final home game of the season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is likely to be a big one and worth considering if you’re in the area staying at a Treasure Bay Resort.  On Monday night, December 18th, the defending National Football Conference Champion and division rival Atlanta Falcons come to town.  This game will likely hold playoff implications, as either team could be fighting to earn a spot in the postseason or improve their odds at a Super Bowl run by securing home field advantage.   Regardless of implications, this match-up is always one that draws a crowd!

If you’re looking to change things up on your Treasure Bay vacation, consider taking a day away from the beach to catch an NFL game at nearby Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.  Whether you’re a fan of the Bucs or a visiting team, love the sport, or simply want to try something new, a short trip up to Tampa Bay from your Treasure Bay hotel will prove to be a great addition to your Treasure Bay Resort and Marina vacation!  While the above three are marquee games, check out the Buccaneers full schedule below for a game that may better fit into your itinerary.
