Have you started training yet? The St. Pete Beach Classic is coming up in a hurry, and we want to see a crowd at the event with their running shoes on! The St. Pete Beach Classic is better than ever with extended dates for the Health & Fitness Expo and new addition of a half marathon on Sunday morning.
The St. Pete Beach Classic 2012 event has more races to choose from than ever. Runners will have the choice of a kid’s run, 5k, 10k, and half marathon. As if that wasn’t enough, you can now choose to participate in the Classic Trio, which includes a half marathon, 10k, and 5k, or you can run the Classic Duo, which includes the 10k and 5k. Whew! Just thinking about all that running makes us tired!
The Palms of Pasadena Hospital Health and Fitness Expo will now be open on Friday and Saturday to race participants and the public. The Expo is a free event, and it is a great place to see new products and treatments that help you maintain good health. Other fun highlights to the St. Pete Beach Classic are the scheduled beach party, bonfire, post-race parties, and award ceremonies. The post parties will not have your average bananas and bagels, but pasta dinners and other delicious rewards for your hard work. Click to view all events on the St. Pete Beach Classic Schedule.
Whether you are participating in this fun event or not, head over to St. Pete Beach to cheer the crowd on! Think of your friends at Treasure Bay Hotel and Marina if you are looking for a place to recuperate after a long day of racing.
